A. Bangaleer Patshala – School of Leadership (BPSL) has been organized to provide educational programs. More specifically, the organization will provide educational programs for Bangladeshi individuals for the purpose of providing leadership skills and fostering independence for refugees. By providing this education, BPSL will help to empower refugees, thus improving their qualities of life.
B. The board of directors will oversee the general implementation of this activity. It may hire staff as may be necessary to successfully implement the programs and plans. See the attached proposed budgets and job descriptions for possible staff to be hired. Volunteers may also be recruited to further sustain the organization’s programs.
C. BPSL will provide its educational programs across the United States, beginning in Michigan. Its education will also be provided digitally for individuals in Bangladesh. The organization does not have any contracts or lease agreements currently in place for a facility from which its activities could be conducted. However, the organization’s board of directors is currently seeking a suitable facility or site for operations. Once a facility is identified, the board of directors will negotiate terms and conditions for the use of said space that will be beneficial to the operations of the organization. The organization may also rent venues for its programs, should its facility not be suitable for the size or intent of its events.

E. No professional fundraising is planned. Funding will be sought through grants and individual/corporate sponsorships. The board of directors and others interested in supporting the work of the organization will develop and implement direct solicitations and grant requests as interest can be identified. On-line contributions will be facilitated at the website once developed. The organization will comply with regulatory requirements for on[1]line donations as they are developed. No materials have been developed at this time.
F. Educational. Bangaleer Patshala – School of Leadership will provide educational programs for refugees in the United States and in Bangladesh on topics including, but not limited to the qualities of an effective leader, life skills including getting a driver’s license, as well as will share motivational stories from former refugees. Therefore, the organization qualifies for an educational purpose under IRC Section 501(c)(3), the instruction or training of individuals for the purpose of improving or developing their capabilities.

More specifically, the organization will provide scholarships to refugees in the United States pursuing higher education, as well as provide tuition assistance for individuals in Bangladesh. By conducting this activity, BPSL will assist youth and young adults with the cost of education, thus improving their chances for success in the future.

Bangaleer Patshala – School of Leadership will further support the refugee population in the United States, as well as Bangladeshi individuals, through the provision of scholarships and tuition assistance.
